The TP-POE-24G Power over Ethernet power source (PoE Injector), offered by Tycon Power, ensures reliable, long-term operation even in the harshest conditions. It efficiently accepts data input via a shielded RJ45 jack and provides surge-protected data and power through the shielded RJ45 output jack. By supplying power to remote devices on the unused Ethernet pins 4,5 (V+) and 7,8 (V-), it ensures continuous performance. For the “R” model, the voltage is reversed to 4,5 (V-) and 7,8 (V+), maintaining seamless operation. Additionally, the Ethernet specification supports distances of up to 100m (328 feet), offering versatile connectivity.
The units feature autoranging capabilities, accepting AC inputs from 90VAC to 264VAC (50/60 Hz), while delivering regulated DC voltage at the output. To ensure maximum reliability, the TP-POE-24G includes built-in protections for surge, short circuit, overload, and overvoltage. This medium-power model provides up to 24W of power output and features a 24V DC output with load regulation within 5%. For enhanced functionality, the CI model includes a current-sensing LED, which changes color when a PoE device is connected to the CAT5/6 cable.
If the remote device does not support Power over Ethernet, the POE-SPLT-S splitter can easily split the data and DC voltage at the remote device. For devices requiring reverse voltage, the POE-XOVER cable offers a convenient and reliable solution.
