Description

The TPDIN-POE-RELAY from Tycon Systems® is a unique device that controls up to 10A of current from a managed PoE switch or other PoE device. When PoE is applied, the relay closes, and the LED turns on. Conversely, when PoE power is removed, the relay opens, and the LED turns off. With two connections—normally closed and normally open—you can utilize both relay logic states effectively.

Moreover, many modern PoE switches allow operators to enable or disable PoE on specific ports, providing control over the relay through the PoE switch function. This flexibility makes the TPDIN-POE-RELAY valuable in various applications.

Furthermore, the unit features a Gigabit Data Passthrough with surge protection, safeguarding the data connection from surges up to 30KV. It mounts securely to a standard DIN Rail, commonly used in industrial installations. This mounting option offers a secure and convenient way to integrate the relay into existing setups.

In summary, the TPDIN-POE-RELAY from Tycon Systems® provides a versatile and efficient solution for controlling current through PoE devices. With its unique relay functionality, Gigabit Data Passthrough with surge protection, and DIN Rail mounting capability, this device meets the needs of various industrial applications.
