Description
The TP-DCDC-1224G-4P provides a cost-effective and high-efficiency DC to DC Converter solution for delivering 24VDC 4-pair Passive Power over Ethernet. It efficiently converts power from a 12VDC or 24VDC source, such as a battery system or vehicle. With its integrated 4-pair PoE injector, it applies both power and data to the CAT5/6 Ethernet cable, ensuring that all 8 wires carry both data and PoE power.
The unit regulates and protects the output voltage, featuring a common (-) and two (+) inputs for connecting primary and backup power sources. Its isolated inputs and outputs allow flexibility with either + or – ground configurations.
Designed for gigabit data, the converter accepts data through a shielded RJ45 jack and provides both gigabit data output and 4-pair PoE power through another shielded RJ45 output jack. It supplies power to Ethernet pins 1, 2, 4, and 5 (V+) and 3, 6, 7, and 8 (V-). With built-in surge, short circuit, and overload protections, the TP-DCDC-1224G-4P ensures reliable operation, delivering up to 24W of power.
